What Customers Say About Romantic Warrior:

if you like jazz, fusion, music in general you will buy this album if you dont have it yet you need to listen to this album if you havent yet. this is the only other jazz/fusion album that i have kept repeating for weeks at a time. every song is so well done i just dont have words.

In 1984 this was my first CD. I had to know who 'Chicorreaha" was.

Power and grace that when I hear it played softly, it plays in my head at "11". I had five years of rock drumming behind me and yet I could not fathom the precision of rhythm and blending of textures.

I have true passion about this release. I first heard the LP through a state-of-the-art stereo when it first came out --my jaw dropped.

I've heard college drum lines who would envy how tight these guys play. This release changed my life at 16 and continues to delight me as I near 50. These musicians have reputations that speak for themselves, so I won't.

I've subconsciously memorized riffs since I first heard the LP.This blending of rock, synth and jazz stylings of is unmatched in my experience.

I was hooked & hooked good. It is a perfect album of perfect instrumental/musical ideas complimenting a genre which is seldom perfected. My mind just opened up like a giant vortex & sucked all it could of the sweet opium scented sound that was floating into my ears from my speakers. A true fusion lovers experience, not to be missed by true fusion lovers. Funny thing though, it was only about 3 or 4 years ago that I really got into it. 5 Stars = MasterpieceReturn to Forever is a band I got familiar with very late in the game. I had heard of them as early as Junior High school in the mid 70's, but did not pick up any of their material until around ten years ago, & that was a compilation that really did not perk my interest, so it was probably five years ago when I bought "Hymn for the Seventh Galaxy" & "Romantic Warrior," both outstanding albums. It was a warm summers night, not a cloud in the sky, I had a compact stereo outside I'd listen to in the warm months (little bugger kicked ass.).

Each & every song a true individual, but greater as a whole whole. A true treasure for those inclined to submit their selves to a grand listening experience that is at once very demanding, but once entered into freely, surprisingly accessible. "Romantic Warrior" just did not stop, nor I with it. I can't emphatically recommend "Romanic Warrior" enough. & I threw on "Romantic Warrior," WOW, it was like I had sex for the first time. It's a true love affair that will stand the test of time. "Romantic Warrior," probably is my favorite fusion album of all time, & one of my top twenty favorite albums, period.

Talk about a revelation. The musicianship, the melodies, the time changes, the totally ethereal experience was sublime beyond all reason. I had been to a bar & ran into a buddy of mine, we lit up a number before I left, then I went home. The album just blew me away.

There is just so much here to digest. Like a great movie, kind of never want it to end. Bought this album when it was released in '76 and it still sounds awesome after hundreds of listens. Never get tired of it.

It doesn't get better than this, it is such a brilliant timeless classic of jazz fusion and musical imagination. This album will also heavily appeal to Prog Rock fans exploring the Jazz Fusion genre. It is also one of my favorite albums of all time across all genres and it still gives me goosebumps after listening to it countless times since I discovered it about 30 or so years ago. Truly this is a masterpiece. The greatest jazz fusion album of all time.
